One great thing about living in Melbourne is the coffee. I could have it all day everyday. I figured that now that I'm living in Melbourne - what better tool to paint with than coffee?
I got out some instant coffee from Moccona that had a hint of caramel. (this smelt amazing) and just added some water and got to work. It was really fun to paint with and I loved how rich the colour came out.
I think I'll have to play around with a few more types of coffee beans to see how the colours come out and the effects they can make.
Below is how the print repeat turned out...I'm thinking that this would look so luxe on a rug or a throw....or even a coffee cup?
